Melanoma warning signs: when tracking is not enough

Mole tracking can help document change, but some warning signs should trigger medical review instead of waiting for another scan.

DermaTrack is a personal screening and documentation tool. It is not a certified medical device and does not provide a medical diagnosis.

ABCDE changes

Asymmetry, irregular border, multiple colors, diameter change, and evolution are common warning signals used in skin screening.

Ugly-duckling lesions

A lesion that looks noticeably different from your other moles deserves attention even if it is small.

Symptoms matter

Bleeding, pain, itching, crusting, rapid growth, or a non-healing spot should be reviewed by a clinician.

Use reports for the visit

If you already have DermaTrack scans, bring the report to show timeline, photos, and visible changes. Do not use it to delay care.
